Qualified candidates must have degrees in journalism, marketing, communication, science writing, health communication, or another relevant field, and have a strong interest in writing about healthcare topics. The best candidates are high performers who are genuinely interested in the clinical, social, financial, and emotional aspects of healthcare. This is a full-time permanent position. After 90 days, the employee will have the option to join our BCBS group health plan. We also have a 100% remote workflow with flexible paid time off.
The Web Content Specialist is all about making sure that the content is:
- Compelling for the target audience
- Consistent with the client’s goals
- Delivered on time
- Written with promotion in mind
The Web Content Specialist should be able to:
- Understand and decipher complex medical information and help to educate target audience
- Interview SMEs, conduct background research and properly source information
- Crank out well-researched content for client websites, blogs, social media, (including CareContent’s)
- Meet deadlines consistently
- Proofread, edit and fact-check content
- Produce content that offers a great user experience and matches the client’s strategic goals
- Incorporate SEO tactics to increase engagement
