Content Conversion Specialist
One benefit of having a physician grandmother is that when other kids got dolls, I got some serious entertainment—a syringe (without the needle) to water plants or a stethoscope to count heartbeats. I didn’t become a doctor, but I developed a desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
I was convinced that the only thing I wanted to do was to become a journalist, and I earned my MS in Journalism from Northwestern University. In my short career as a journalist, I quickly woke up to the reality that placing good information in the right hands requires a lot more than just telling the story right. Instead of intuition, it needs a scientific approach in the process of content execution and promotion.
Why? Technology is getting sophisticated, but it’s not necessarily giving a voice to good content if algorithms don’t understand it. So, I went on to get my Master’s in Marketing Analytics. And ever since, I’ve enjoyed working with both data and words to connect the right information to the audiences who truly need it.
