Digital Marketing & Business Development Specialist

The Digital Marketing & Business Development Specialist is responsible for executing digital marketing strategies that help CareContent clients grow their audiences and reach their conversion goals. This person is also tasked with researching and outreach to potential clients who can benefit from CareContent’s services. The key result for this team member is growth — growing our client’s online audiences and growing our company's outreach to prospects.

This position would start as a part-time contractor, leading into a permanent position.

The Digital Marketing & Business Development Specialist is responsible for…

  • Executing digital marketing campaigns for clients and our own company via email marketing, social media, paid search, and influencer marketing
  • Managing social media calendars for clients and our own company
  • Generating leads for CareContent by researching and reaching out to prospects directly or via campaign
  • Tracking and sharing best practices for digital marketing outreach with the team
  • Posting content and tracking performance for CareContent’s social media accounts, especially LinkedIn
  • Managing client social media accounts, reviewing content to make sure it’s amazing and meets best practices


  • At least 2-3 years of digital marketing experience required
  • Formal training in digital marketing, especially social media, campaign management, and analytics; Certifications preferred
  • Strong interest in digital lead generation and audience growth
  • Proven proofreading and deadline management skills
  • Proficient in LinkedIn, Hubspot CRM, WordPress backend, Facebook, and all things Google, especially Google Analytics
